Seafest 4-on-4 hockey, Three-on-Three Basketball, Grass Volleyball Tournament

Seafest 4-on-4 Hockey

Prince Rupert Minor Hockey and Tim Horton’s are once again bringing four-on-four hockey to Seafest this upcoming Saturday, June 10.

The 12th Annual 4 on 4 Seafest Street Hockey Challenge brings together teams from age categories ranging from Initiation (those born in 2010 or 2011) to Midget (born in 1999, 2000 and 2001) to Senior (1998 or before).

Each team can carry a maximum of six players, including the goalie. Each team is guaranteed two games and registration forms must be submitted to Tim Horton’s by Wednesday, June 7 at 4 p.m. The challenge is a fundraiser for Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation, Prince Rupert Minor Hockey and the Special Events Society.

Three-on-three Basketball

The 19th Annual Jim Ciccone Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament kicks off Friday, June 9 and runs until Sunday, June 11. The games start Friday at 4 p.m. at the civic centre parking lot, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Third Avenue and Fifth Street and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the waterfront (Kwinitsa Station).

There are six divisions included and the registration deadline is Wednesday, June 7 at 4 p.m. Pick up and drop off registration forms at Good Times Games.

Grass Volleyball Tournament

Saturday, June 10 marks the return of the Prince Rupert Seafest Grass Volleyball Tournament at the courthouse lawn.

The team registration deadline is Thursday, June 8 at 3 p.m. and it can be handed in with fees to Good Times Games. Players must be at least 13-years-old to enter. One female player must always be on the court at all times.

Rise ‘N Grind Contest

The Rise ‘N Grind Skate competition was postponed June 4 due to poor weather. It has been recheduled to June 18.
