Well, Ladysmith, it’s already March. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems like the number of days in each month is decreasing. Pretty soon, you’ll be planning out your summer. For now, though, enjoy whatever number of days there are in March and take time to enjoy these events.Ladysmith ImprovPrepare to have your mind blown. The LSS senior improv team received first place on Vancouver Island in the Canadian Improv Games. The junior team placed fourth in the Island junior finals. But wait, there’s more. Both teams have been invited to compete nationally in Ottawa this April. The teams are hosting a fundraiser to help them get there. Help these improvisers and watch them perform at the same time on March 10 at the secondary school. The night features improv, music and more. Tickets are by a suggested donation of $10. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m. This is a night you definitely don’t want to miss.LSS You may have noticed some Ladysmith Secondary students handing out flowers downtown last week. The group set out to invade Ladysmith with random acts of kindness. A big thank you goes to 49th Bloooms Florist for donating the flowers. But the goodness doesn’t end there, upcoming events include a Pay it Forward week, freedom days and more. Keep a lookout and prepare yourself for these students in their quest for betterment internally, locally and globally.Grad 2011The LSS grad class of 2011 hosts a family photo fundraiser Thursday, March 3.
