In Loving Memory ~

Yvonne Hunter, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, with Bob by her side.

Predeceased by oldest daughter Vicki Buchanan, survived by husband Bob, daughters Lynn Robinson (Brad) and Gail Hunter, many grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Born on February 5, 1937, in Princeton, BC. Yvonne's early years were spent in Canoe, followed by a move to Powell River before settling on Vancouver Island. She attended high school in Campbell River and it was during this time her class mate arranged a blind date between her and her husband to be Bob, resulting in a marriage that lasted an incredible 68 years.

She found community and friendship within her church and joy in crafting, painting and gardening, often sharing her creations with friends and family. Her coveted "lemon" rocks became cherished keepsakes, each one with a story to tell.

Those who knew Yvonne will remember her tenacity, feisty personality, quick wit, and infectious smile. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

She read the back of the book, and she knows who wins.

She will be dearly missed.
