Mom, Granny, Gindy passed away on August 29, surrounded by her beloved family at NGH. Win was born in Edmonton, AB, to Allen Miller and Dakota Erickson. Mom was a lover of family, friends, nature, and animals. Her favourite pastime was meditating in the garden she created with love, pride, and dedication. Granny loved spending time on the beach in QB, her home for over 30 years. Gindy was a foodie and famous for her gourmet meals and delicious baked goods. Family, friends, and acquaintances were blessed in partaking in mom’s many culinary delights. Cooking was one of the ways Win expressed her love for others. Mom played bridge her whole life and enjoyed a passion for golf into her seventies. Win is survived by her children, Laurel (Gerry) LaBelle, Valerie Paetz, and Jeff Gaetz. Her grandchildren Erin, Vanessa, Celeste (Jamie), Nick, Jessica (Myles) McMorran, Chris, Darren, great-grandson Mason, and her beloved dog Scooter. No service is planned as Win had a celebration of life on her 82nd birthday. If you would like to honour Win’s memory, plant a flower in a garden or donate to the palliative care unit at NGH.Obituary-
