Mumford, William (Bill) passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Seniors Village on July 28, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife Myra (January 21, 2016) and his son Stuart (August 26, 2003). He is survived by his daughter Sandra, son-in-law Tony, and grandson Gareth. Born in Saltcoats, Scotland on December 27, 1933, he was the youngest of five; he and his wife Myra embarked on a new life adventure and moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 1960.
When they retired, they relocated to Comox, B.C., where they spent 20 years travelling the world and spending their summers in their 5th wheel at Miracle Beach and Salmon Point.
To quote Dad "I had a good long life".
As per Bill's wishes, there will be no service.
