Willard J. Fiala, age 80, passed away peacefully in the hospital on November 28th, 2022. He was born April 8th, 1942 in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan to Joseph and Bertha Fiala.
Willard is survived by his two sons, Mike (Diane) and Ron (Rayanne) Fiala, Jackie Mawson, granddaughter McKinnley Fiala, his brothers Richard and Ken (Sandra), sister Beverly, nephews; Bradley, Blake, Bryan, Jefferey, Darcy and Jamie as well as his niece Corrina. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Jack Fiala.
Willard came to Trail, B.C. in his 20's. He started his career at Teck as a welder and retired after 30 years. He enjoyed his time at Kootenay Lake boating and fishing with the family.
A small celebration of life will be held at a later date. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
