In Loving Memory ~
Wilda Burbidge was originally from Grimsby, Ontario, and met her husband in Northern BC. She went to England for a year to teach AFTER he proposed but she did return to marry him. They raised their family in North Vancouver before retiring to Princeton where they had spent their summers.
Wilda loved her husband, Don, her two daughters, Andrea and Suzanne, her best friend for decades, "Lil," her teaching career, reading mystery novels, dogs (her favourites- incomprehensibly- were beagles) and her beautiful home. Most of all, she loved her grandson, Kaelum.
On April 17, 2024 Wilda, or as she was known in England, "Willy," passed away in her care home where she enjoyed her Baileys and coffee nights.
