In Loving Memory ~
Warren Mark Watson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, March 17th, 2023, at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke, at the age of 70 years.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Warren and Wanda Watson on September 18, 2023 which would have been their 45th wedding anniversary. Details to be announced.
Warren was born in Vancouver, B.C. on November 22, 1952. He was the only one of the seven Watson siblings not born here but the only one who grew up in Revelstoke and never left.
He worked as a Conductor for C.P. Rail for 38 years, retiring at the age of 55.
After retirement, Wanda said Warren spent the first two years sleeping and going for coffee, after which he continued to work part-time, for R Taxi, Selkirk Tangiers, The Regent Inn, BC Ferries and his favourite of all Canadian Mountain Holidays.
He was a long-time member of the Revelstoke Legion, Moose Lodge, Rocky Mountain Rangers & Cadet Corps.
Warren was a collector of knowledge and all things, which he was always eager to share. He leaves every life he's touched with the legacy of his stories, learned and told over decades of his life here in Revelstoke.
He leaves his family and friends with a lifetime of beautiful memories, unconditional love, and a void in their hearts that can never be filled.
Warren was predeceased by his beloved wife Wanda, last August, his parents, Bob and Margo Watson; brothers Randy and Robbie; grandsons Shawn and Kaleb.
He is survived by his daughter Tamara (Glen) Karras, son Jeff (Tamara) Adderley; four grandchildren: Azaria, Allison, Justin and Ryan; four siblings: Carol, Darcy, Casey and April; nieces and nephews: Leanne, Kari, Christopher, Stephanie, Scott, Samantha, Justin and Jared
