Viola Edith Bauchman, age 88 passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2023, at the Comox valley Hospice Society. Vi was born in Bedford, Nova Scotia on November 18, 1934. She married Ernest Bauchman in 1984. Vi and Ernie enjoyed numerous summers at Winnipeg Beach. They relocated to Comox after Ernie's retirement from the Air Force and had resided in the valley for the past 30 years. Vi was a people person who enjoyed time with friends. She especially loved curling and traveling- in particular to see her daughter and grandchildren in the USA. She will be missed by her friends and family.
Vi was predeceased by her husband Ernest J Bauchman, her sister Gloria, and her brother William. She is survived by her daughter Heather Killeen, her husband and their children Amanda, Kelsey, Shayne, Brady, Connor, Logan of St. George, UT. Vi is survived by Ernie's children Kevin and Kathy of Winnipeg, MB, and Kris of Campbell River, BC.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22nd, 2023, at the Comox Valley Seniors Village (4640 Headquarters Rd, Courtenay) at 1:00 pm in the theater room.
