It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Victor Kenneth Bassett in Revelstoke on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the age of 76.
Victor was born in 1945 at Coronach, Saskatchewan. He was an avid outdoorsman throughout his life. His love for hunting, fishing and camping was passed down to his kids and grandchildren. Vic worked many years in the logging industry, hand falling being his favorite of all the jobs he did as a logger. Vic was a social man. He liked meeting new people and going for coffee to have a b.s. with old friends and new.
Victor is survived by his wife Patsy of Revelstoke; three children: Vic (Lori) Bassett of Chase, B.C., Troy Bassett of Campbell River, B.C. and Tina (Bob) Johnson of Vernon, B.C.; seven grandchildren: Justin, Tianna, Dezarae, Austin, Rachel, Kyla and Janelle and two great grandkids: Adrianna and Taiya.
