It is with great sadness that the family of Vi (Viola) Lister announces her passing on July 16, 2023. She was born in Vallican on July 16, 1931.
She was predeceased by her husband Benny, the love of her life, in 2007, 2 brothers Emil, Kurt, and son-in-law Hans.
She is survived by her son Ken (Bonnie), daughter Tanis, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters Ella and Alice, and brother Al and Glen.
Mom lived a long healthy life fishing, berry picking, feeding her hummingbirds, curling, and playing accordion.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Pavilion in New Denver for all the care they provided in her last years of life. Vi will be missed by her family.
