August 20, 1989 - February 26, 2023
In loving memory ~
The Pierce family is devastated to announce Trevor's sudden passing following a horrific snowmobile accident.
Trevor was born to Rick Pierce and Tressa Taylor on August 20th, 1989 in Burnaby, B.C. They started out in Burnaby, moved to Surrey, Mission, Abbotsford, Grand Forks, 100 Mile House and finally settled in Williams Lake in 2004.
Trevor welcomed his firstborn Brycen in March 2008. In 2009, Trevor met the love of his life and best friend Shanelle Heitmann. They had two beautiful babies (Owen and Olivia) in 2014 before tying the knot in 2016. In 2019 they completed their family with the birth of their youngest daughter, Braelyn.
Trevor's first job was in construction which he did for about 12 years, he briefly switched to installing doors and then settled into driving trucks.
Driving a semi was Trevor's passion. He had so much fun driving his semis in circumstances that would terrify most of us.
Trevor lived life to the fullest. He could never sit still and always had to be tinkering on something. He loved to be on the water, up in the mountains - anywhere he felt connected to nature.
Trevor is survived by his wife Shanelle, sons Brycen and Owen, daughters Olivia and Braelyn, dad Rick and mom Tressa, sister Stephanie Pierce and brothers Tyler and Travis Pierce.
A trucker's parade will start at noon (line up at the Stampede Grounds at 11:30 a.m.) on Saturday, March 18th, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Overlander (Ramada) Convention Centre, where the doors will open at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome and please come to share your favourite memory of Trevor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA.
The Williams Lake Powder Kings also intend to memorialize Trevor at their yearly round-up at Yanks on Saturday, March 11th.
