It is with great sadness that the family of Tracey D. Friesen announces her passing.
She will be forever missed by her Mother, Corinne Friesen, Sister, Brenda Stephens & Brother in Law, Gary Stephens. As well as her extended family & loved friends.
Tracey was born February 02, 1960, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and had an adventurous life growing up in Prince George & Cranbrook. She went to college in Calgary & Montreal, graduating with a Library Science Degree.
She then moved to New York City where she held influential roles with Planned Parenting, American Art Magazine & Goldman Sachs.
Tracey was diagnosed with MS & had to retire from her working life. She moved to Toronto & stayed involved with her writing.
Tracey enjoyed working for social causes, feminist issues, & research. Her disease worsened & sadly she passed on August 16th, 2023.
Nothing can ever take away
a love the heart held dear.
