It is with great sadness we announce Shirley McMillan of Clearwater, British Columbia has passed away.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Larry McMillan, her daughter Laurine Tromp, her son Wesley (Michelle) Wall, son Andy (Doreen) McMillan, and daughter Jenelle (Glenn) McMillan, her treasured nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, her brother Melvin (Rhonda) MacDonald, brother Leon MacDonald, sister Leona (Bob) Hole, brother John MacDonald, sister Donna( Dave) Gerard, brother Colin (Dusty) MacDonald, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents Phillip and Leona (Wurm) MacDonald, her brothers Donald and Darell MacDonald, son-in-law Chris Tromp and great-grandson Dawson Romeo.
The family was very important to Shirley. She loved Family dinners! She loved being with her grandchildren. She liked spending time in the outdoors. She would only take vacations within BC.
Shirley worked at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater for 33 years in Food Services. She enjoyed working there.
Shirley has been put to rest at the Clearwater Cemetery with family and close friends present.
She has been honoured by a luncheon with family one last time.
