July 11, 1945 – August 15, 2020
Shirley went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 75. Shirley enjoyed life to the fullest. She was never without a smile and always quick to make others laugh.
Shirley was a good friend, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Shirley is survived by her son Michael Holm (Corrine), daughter Dawna O’Neill (Patrick), grandson Arthur (Olivia), granddaughter Angela (Jared), great-grandson Finley Carter O’Neill born August 14, 2020 and her cat Lexi.
Shirley was predeceased by her husbands, John Holm and Robert Elliott and her parents Ernest and Frieda Tressel.
A funeral service was held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Brampton, Ontario on August 22, 2020. On June 26, 2021, Shirley was laid to rest beside her husband John at Forest Lawn
Memorial Park, Burnaby, B.C.
