Shelley was born and raised in Penticton and graduated from Pen-Hi in 1984. Shelley then went on to get her degree in administrative management at BCIT. Shelley was artistic, creative, funny, kind, and intelligent. Because of her optimistic outlook on life, she did not let her health challenges define her. Shelley brightened her own world, and other peoples with her artwork and crafts, and sense of humour. She was a loyal friend and devoted to family.
Shelley is survived by her loving family, her brother Terry and his wife Sharon, her sister Rose Aston and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind the family she made at Village by The Station, and people who became her family at the dialysis unit in Penticton Regional Hospital. Shelley was predeceased by her brother Robert in 1986; her mother Frances in 2005; and her father Terence in 2016.
A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, December 22nd, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Everden Rust Funeral Home, 1130 Carmi Ave Penticton, B.C. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penticton.
