Our hearts are broken as we share the tragic news of the untimely passing of our Son, Ryan Roy Mauch. His enthusiasm in life was driven by his love of sports, friends, laughter, games, harmless tricks, Slurpees, but most of all his family and pets. Ryan's most enduring life trait had always been his generous giving spirit and big heart, qualities this world needs more of. He will be forever missed by all whom he touched during his life. So much life unlived, dreams unfulfilled, words unspoken and family time lost.
Ryan is survived by his mother Lona and stepfather Bruce LaPorte, sister Carla Dyck and spouse Paul Kullar, nephew Shae Khan, stepbrothers Kristopher LaPorte all of B.C. and Matthew LaPorte and spouse Julia and nephews Enno and Lias of Bern Switzerland, along with scores of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan also is survived by his cherished longtime friend and companion Brandi Patterson, and her four sons Carter, Seth, Josh, and Brodi all of Chilliwack, B.C.
Ryan's wishes were to forgo a funeral or a celebration of life and in lieu of flowers a donation to Chilliwack's S.P.C.A.
The cruelest most painful event that life can impose on any family is the taking of a child from a MOTHER. Death has a harsh way of making us realize how precious the time you spend with those you really love is, and that life as a family can change in an instant. Nobody knows when any of us will be called, so spend the TIME you have with all those you love WELL. God Bless and Keep You Always my Son.
