September 11, 1941 - January 20, 2023
Ruth passed away Friday January 20, 2023, at Chilliwack, BC. She was born September 11, 1941, in Bashaw, Alberta. Ruth is survived by her sister, Doris Dahms of Terrace, BC, nephews Ken, Dale, Peter and nieces Deb and Darlene. Predeceased by husband Jack, parents Matilda and Gustav Weins, brother Joseph and sister Emma Bowal.
Ruth moved with Jack to BC in 1974 and eventually bought acreage in Sardis, later moving into Chilliwack. Ruth worked at Norman Manor for seniors for many years where her caring, compassionate nature made her a favorite. She spent many happy hours in her yard and garden, being especially proud of her flowers. Ruth loved playing Bingo, spoiling her cat, and spending time with friends and relatives.
She will be greatly missed. Thank you to her dear friends Dar, Sue and Irene for their care and support during Ruth's final months. Interment at Vedder View Gardens Cemetery
