Rose passed away suddenly on May 3, 2024 at Cowichan District Hospital, Duncan, BC. She was born in Big River, SK on September 29, 1940.
Rose is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie Wheeler (Allan); much loved son, Dwayne; cherished granddaughter, Alicia Thompson (Andrew); great grandchildren: Mason and Rosalyn; and her loving sisters: Alice Anderson and Joanne Garand.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Eric (2016) and brother, Bill Doucette (2023).
Rose spent most of her life at the family home in Lake Cowichan until illness took her to live at Cairnsmore Place six years ago. A heartfelt thank you to all of the Cairnsmore staff for the loving care and attention given to her during her stay there. A small private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Rose will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
