February 25, 1952 - July 21, 2023
Robert "Bob" William Murdoch, 71, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2023, at his home in Maple Ridge. He was born on February 25, 1952, in Vancouver, to Moira and Jack Murdoch.
Bob lived life in the fast lane, whether it was skiing, boating, or driving! He was a devoted father, always there with love, guidance, and support for his sons, Andrew and Scott. For those of us who have been blessed to have been able to call Bob a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, or friend, words cannot be found for what is lost to us, but his stories and memories will live on.
Bob is reunited with his parents and sisters, Janet McFarlane and Cathy Laity, in heaven.
He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 38 years, Cindy, as well as his sons, Andrew and Scott (Gina). He also leaves behind his father-in-law, Rene (Janice), and cherished brothers and sisters-in-law.
A celebration of Bob's life will take place on November 4th, 2023, at 2:30 pm at Eagles Hall, 23461 Fern Crescent, Maple Ridge. Please join us as we remember and honor Bob's remarkable journey.
