In loving memory ~
Robert Dennis Lang passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years on November 15th, 2022, at NRGH with Myrna, his wife of 27 years, with him throughout his final days and hours.
He was born in London, Ontario, to William and Pearl Lang and had two brothers, Norman and Gordon (Dorothy) all of whom have predeceased him.
He is greatly missed and fondly remembered by 4 daughters, Jane, Tina, Mary (James), and Kelly. Also 9 grandchildren, Samantha, Alexander (Jasmine), Zachary, Jessica (Chris), Michael, Jordan(Rebecca), Tyler, Corey (Kyra), & Jaydan, and 6 great-grandchildren, Ben, Grayson, Quinn, Rhett, Nevada, Sage, and many nieces and nephews, a wide circle of friends, and a lifelong best friend, Roy Wylie.
Robert was an artist, displaying his work in their home; he designed the houses they lived in on Gabriola and Lake Cowichan, and he built several boats which he sailed obsessively. He was also a furniture builder and teacher, hunter and fisherman, and musician, playing the keyboard and singing with a Senior choir. He leaves many memories of their adventures with his best friend and wife Myrna and their friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
