In Loving Memory ~
Bob (Robert) McCormack died peacefully at Mill Site Lodge in 100 Mile House on June 30/23 at age of 87.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie; his daughter, Shelley; his step-children, Jeanette, Wanda and Lance (their spouses and four grandchildren).
He also left behind his brother Bill and wife; sister, Charlene as well as his many nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by brothers Butch and Merle.
Bob was born in Vancouver and grew up there and in Deep Cove. He learned to drive truck with his father and spent many years driving truck until he moved to 70 Mile. There he bought a gas station and did mechanic work, eventually adding a small cafe.
In 1975 he went to work for Ainsworth Lumber and became the truck boss. He worked there for 25 years until retirement. Later years he would be found at BJ's sipping a coffee with his Buddies.
We wish to thank his friends and visitors at Mill Site Lodge and the many people who sent messages and cards to his blended family.
Grateful thanks to Dr. Montgomery, nurses, staff and fellow patients who made his stay comfortable and a "home away from home".
No service at Bob's request.
