In 2007 he and his wife Margie moved to Desert Cove and spent many years travelling in their RV and wintering in Arizona.
Bob's happy place was the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and miner. He maintained his trapline in the Goldstream for many years.
He was a very gregarious and outgoing person who amassed many friends throughout his lifetime and was available to help anyone out. He was a storyteller and kept everyone entertained.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital for the care that Bob received.
As per Bob's request, a memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
