August 6, 1968 - January 13, 2022
Rob MacLean born in Victoria on August 6, 1968 passed away in Pitt Meadows on January 13, 2022 surrounded by his family after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with ALS . Predeceased by his brother Kelly in 1992, he is survived by his wife Traci, daughters Mara and Addison, parents Alex and Marjie MacLean and in-laws Ralph and Linda Torske.
Rob grew up on a farm in Greenwood BC and was a gifted athlete who played hockey for the Border Bruins, Rossland Warriors and Trail Smoke Eaters.
He spent the last 15 years in Pitt Meadows raising his family and was a former member of the PMFD. He was well known to all for his sense of humour and inappropriate jokes.
Thank you to all of our amazing family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and PMFD who helped and supported us so much throughout this journey.
