1921-2022 ~ Phyllis was born in the Peace River area of B.C. and spent her youth on a homestead, connected to the world only by steamboats on the Peace River.
She served as a driver in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2. She lived most of her adult life in Deep Creek and Salmon Arm, B.C. She enjoyed family, horses, hiking, skiing and the Toronto Blue Jays.
She passed away on 9 January 2022, at the age of 100. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe and her son Gary.
She is survived by four children, Doug (Judy), Ron (Linda), Rosalie (Doug) and Eugene (Ruth), seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place later this year.
