In loving memory ~
Our treasured mother and best friend passed peacefully in her sleep, at Cairnsmore Place, in Duncan, B.C., with her daughters at her side. Mom is survived by daughters Janet (Sally), Brenda, and Colleen (Phil), as well as grandchildren Ali (Graham), Nick (Erin), Zack, Mackenna and Dakota; her twin brother, Philip Bradshaw; and extended family.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Robert Tew (2010), her parents and 5 older siblings. She loved her family deeply. Mom and Dad married in 1956, raising the family in Penticton, B.C., where mom worked at Penticton Hospital; they moved to Vancouver Island in the late 1990s.
Mom volunteered for the Duncan Hospital Auxiliary; she could always be counted upon to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. With her trademark smile and a twinkle in her eye, she was a favourite with the Cairnsmore staff: we are extremely grateful for the care and love they showed her since spring 2019.
Private memorial; interment at Penticton Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cairnsmore Place Auxiliary Committee, Duncan, B.C., in Mom's name.
