September 18, 1965 - March 31, 2024

In loving memory ~

Paulette Lisa Vike (nee Schreiber) passed on Resurrection Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 11:30 AM after a brief but well-fought sprint with cancer.

Paulette was born on September 18, 1965, in Dawson Creek BC to Thomas Schreiber and Dorothy Bagg (nee Miller ) who have predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Vike, daughters Lisa and Jenny (son-in-law Curtis), son Dustin, and grandchildren Dace, Brynna, Paige, and Emma, as well as her beloved stepfather MacAllister Bagg and sisters Penny and Pam. She is also survived by the numerous extended families, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Paulette is known for her determination, organization, drive, and love for Jesus. Born at just 4 lbs 10 oz, she has always gone the extra mile. In her teenage years, she ran track and field and played basketball. At the age of 18, Paulette became a Christian and also married the love of her life, Mark.

Paulette's next years were focused on raising children, homeschooling, and growing in her relationship with Jesus. Mark and Paulette moved to Big Lake Ranch in 1996 where she worked alongside her husband on McInnes Lake Ranch. Paulette always went for what she wanted and was open to growing her abilities. She spent a couple of years riding a cutting horse and attending various clinics. She is well known for her heartfelt words of encouragement, her love of the outdoors, and her boldness in sharing about her Saviour.

Paulette touched many lives during her time here in her worldly body and will be remembered with tears of joy and sadness. She will be laid to rest at 10 AM in the Horsefly Cemetery on April 6, 2024, with a service to follow at McInnes Lake Ranch at 2 PM. Services are open to all who wish to attend the celebration of her life.
