With deepest regret we announce the passing of our dad and grandpa, Paul Eric Richard, age 88,October 14, 2022, in Vernon, BC. Born February 6, 1934, in Truro, Nova Scotia, he is survived by daughter Susan (Alan) Brandoli, grandchildren Emilia (Liam) and Aaron (Darby), and sisters Andrea Chappell and Janet (Byrne) Melanson and extended family.
Paul was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Blanchard) in 2012, and brother, Norman. As the family genealogist and historian, Paul loved family most of all, as well as dogs, bird watching, tennis and hockey. We will dearly miss his sense of humor, healthy appetite at family dinners (love of lobster and dessert), and generosity. Thank you to the caring medical staff of VJH and KGH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
