Nina Moojalsky

In loving memory ~
Nina Moojalsky was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sadly she left this world to be with the Lord on January 27, 2023, at the age of 78.
Nina is survived by her daughter Angela (Tracy) Melnyk of Kelowna, her brother Joseph (Grace) Arishenkoff of White Rock and her sister-in-law Donna Arishenkoff of Castlegar. Also, Nina is survived by seven grandchildren Eric, Taryn, and Ethan Johnston of Castlegar and Liam, Adam, Tristan and Grayson Melnyk of Kelowna.
She is predeceased in death by her husband Peter Moojalsky of Grand Forks, her daughter Sharlene Rowlands- Johnston of Grand Forks, brothers Peter Arishenkoff of Vancouver and Fred Arishenkoff of Castlegar.
Nina was born September 9, 1944, in Grand Forks to parents Peter and Helen Arishenkoff. She attended Grand Forks Secondary School. She married the love of her life, Peter Moojalsky on October 13, 1963. They went on to have two daughters Sharlene and Angela. Nina was the most loving mother and was the foundation of our family. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Nina was employed by the Boundary Medical Clinic for 33 years. She excelled in her career to become the office manager. Even though she had serious health issues most of her life she made the best of what her abilities allowed her to do.
A very courageous and strong woman. Nina attended church in Grand Forks and was a very spiritual woman. Nina moved to Kelowna in 2012 to be with her daughter Angela and family. Nina will always hold a special place in our hearts.
A small service will be held at Grand Forks Funeral Home on February 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
