Nicola Lee McVey

On Wednesday, July 26th we lost the life of Nicola Lee McVey, a beloved mother, sister, and friend.
Her life journey started with her parents migrating to Terrace, British Columbia from Australia after they had two of Nikki's older siblings, Matthew and Lisa. Once in Canada, Jack and Kay welcomed Christopher and on October 18th, 1968, the Hepplewhite family was completed with our beloved Nicola.
Nikki went on to stay in Canada to attend university and met and married Rob McVey and had two children Lexi (Jeff) and Braydon as well as her stepdaughter Taylor.
Nicola was a woman who was loved by her many friends in the community and being a part of her friends' lives was her favourite thing as she was always there to answer a phone call, bake a meal, or be a shoulder to lean on or cry with.
Nicola believed in putting others before herself, and never said no to someone in need and is missed dearly every day.
There will be a celebration of life for Nikki on what would have been her 55th birthday this October 18th at the Terrace Legion from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
