Muriel Joan LUCHT

Muriel Joan Lucht, passed away suddenly February 2, 2004 at her home in Cultus Lake, at the age of 78. She was born in Prince Rupert, November 29, 1926.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Theron (Ted) Lucht; their two children, Brian and Jill (Jeff); five grandchildren, Melissa, Jason, Brittany, Ashley, and Brianne; one sister Margaret (Mervin) of Summerland; many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and neighbours.

Mom loved to knit and crochet. She especially loved to knit those ‘first’ baby sweaters and booties and afghans. She also followed Dad to their favourite fishing lakes where she would crochet several afghans and knit lots of dish cloths while she waited for the “BIG” catch of the day!’’ Mom loved to play the slots and once a year she would travel to Reno, NV. with her best friend John. There they would play the ‘slots’ all night! She would come home tired but ‘broke even’!

At a later date, Mom’s cremated remains will be taken for family scattering services at her favourite place.
