It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary at the age of 82. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jim (Bonnie), Lester (Suzie), Dena (Tony), Anna (Kevin), Ryan (Katie), 18 grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Mary is predeceased by her husband Len, daughter Debra & parents Mae & Les Silver.
Mary was born & grew up in Enderby where she met her one true love, Len in 1953 at a dance he was playing music at, and they were married in Oct. 1957. Mary was a devoted wife, wonderfully loving mother, great gardener & loved listening to Len sing and play his steel guitar. She always made sure you knew you were loved, gave a helping hand to those in need & Mary’s honest loving soul will be sorely missed.
Mary loved deeply to many but none more than her Len, reaching for him often crossing the road or any chance she could to show her love. Some would say a match made in Heaven, some things just go better together and always will.
“What’s the point of this old guitar if it ain’t got no strings, or pouring your heart into a song you ain’t gonna sing”. May Dad’s guitar always play your favourite songs, we know the wait was difficult Mom, but wait no longer, now you can both watch over us as one.
