Born January 13, 1942 in Dominion City, Manitoba. Marvin passed away quietly in Duncan on October 16, 2024. Marvin's loving wife Shirley predeceased him and he is survived by his son Roy (Ingrid).
Marvin is leaving behind a community of people that loved him, cherished his stories, support, kindness and willingness to help. He sold cedar chairs at the Duncan Market. Marvin was an avid sports man who coached, played hockey and baseball in Victoria and Cowichan.
One of his greatest pleasures was hunting and fishing with his son Roy when he was younger; and more recently, fishing with friends in Tahsis. Marv loved his time in the hills above Duncan. He enjoyed poker and was excited to win, especially if he bluffed his way to the pot. You are missed.
