In Loving Memory ~
Marlene Gay Metcalfe (nee Barchet) passed away quietly on Tuesday September 19, 2023 in West Coast General Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents Mel and Lee Barchet and survived by her sister Carla, husband Ron, children; Robert (Yvonne), Melissa (Marlon), Crystal (Adam) and grandchildren Josh, Isaac, Emma, Grace, Isabella, and Jaxson.
At Gay's request no service will be held but the family is planning a Celebration of Life at a place and time to be determined.
Gay's family would like to thank Drs. Hudson, Nell, Smith and Wheatley, the staffs of Palliative Care, Home Care and the nursing staff at West Coast General Hospital for their thoughtful attention and advice. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
