In loving memory ~
Marion was born in Salmo and passed away peacefully with her granddaughter by her side on August 18th in Castlegar.
She is predeceased by her husband Nick, her brother Alex and her parents, Nellie and Alex.
She is survived by her children; Connie, Sid (Shelley) and Randy (Lydia), her grandchildren; Tracie Lynn, Katie (Marc) and Sarah (Cole), her four great-grandchildren, her two great-great-grandchildren, her sister Elaine (Stu), brother Peter (Sharon) and numerous other family members.
Marion loved quilting and volunteering her time in her beloved community. She served with the Salmo Hospice Society, the Salmo Doukhobor Society, Friends of The Library and also the Salmo Valley Newsletter. However, the most important thing in her life was her grandchildren - her face always lit up at the sight of them!
A private family service of interment will be held at Boulder Creek Cemetery. A Celebration of Marion's life that everyone will be welcome to will be announced soon. Gwen Ziprick of Clark's Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
