Marion was born and raised in Nanaimo, enjoying some of her childhood on the family farm in Deep Bay with her Dad. She married her soulmate, William (Jim) Churchill in 1964 and they started their family and life together.
Always up for an outing or visit, she would brighten the day of anyone she met with a compliment and a smile. She was the family story keeper and relished any audience eager to listen. She loved to cook, knit and was an avid fan of the acting arts, often quoting Shakespeare from heart and enjoying her large movie collection. She was passionate about feeding the wild birds, hummingbirds and deer that visited their property daily.
A beloved mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed and remembered by those who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband, William (Jim) Churchill in Nov 2021; her brother Warren in 2017, her mother Mary Kathleen (Gray) in 1971 and her father Melville Stuart Cook in 1975.
She is survived by her daughters, Edna and Dianna (Lindsay); Grandchildren, Janella (Ryan), James, Kaitlyn & Cheyenne; great granddaughter, Emersyn; brother Grayme (Judy) and many nieces and nephews.
