March 13, 1926 – July 25, 2023
In loving memory ~
Surrounded by the love of her family, Marion passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023. Born March 13, 1926, to Scottish immigrants Catherine and Donald MacEachen in Red Deer, Alberta. From an early age, Marion was anchored by the love of family, faith, hard work, optimism and a quiet resilience. Beloved wife to Leo, Marion never needed to be the centre of attention, in fact, she was most comfortable being a back-up to Leo’s antics or her children’s. Quick-witted, she would throw in a quiet zinger that would bring the house down. She was quick to laugh at the absurdities of life, other-centred and the calm in the storm. She was a good friend, a great listener and for her children, our North Star.
Proud mother to Bob (Nancy), Brian (Jane), Dianne (Gene), Cathy (Cam), Karen (Dan). Loving grandma to Keith, David (Crosley), Duncan, Thomas, Gillian (Crosley), Doug, Robert, Kyle, Graham (Schneidmiller), Graham, Ryan (Matheson), Madison, Katie (Kerr). Cherished Great Grandma to Eric, Tess (Crosley), Lucas, Leo (Crosley), Alessia, Sofia (Crosley), Tyler, Austin, Cade, Tanner (Schneidmiller), Kyan, Kira, Cali (Schneidmiller), Elle, Isobel (Schneidmiller), Finnian, Lochlan (Schneidmiller).
A legacy of love lives on. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.Obituary-
