Linda Gloria (Stumpf) Blondin born January 7, 1950 in Kitchener, ON ; died July 26, 2023 in Mission, B.C.
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, sister and friend, Linda. She was the million-dollar baby of Harley and Marion Stumpf.
She is survived by her children Rocky Blondin (Cheryl), Chad Blondin and Tamara Donohue (David). Sister to 7, she was the oldest of a large extended family.
Linda started life in Kitchener with her Mom and Dad in ON where 4 of her siblings joined them. Her family eventually moved to Calgary, AB where her 3 youngest siblings would be born and big (little) sister Linda would become her mother's helper in looking after the family.
Linda enjoyed sports and actively participated in gymnastics, softball, hockey and other sports. She attended Henry Wisewood High School and was in the graduating class of 1968.
In her early 20's she moved to B.C., where she married and started her family.
She was a loving & devoted mother first and foremost and was there to support her kids in their various pursuits. She also enjoyed time spent with all animals, caring for so many throughout her life. Linda loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and embraced the time spent with them.
Linda had a vivacious personality and a twinkle in her eyes. She made many friends throughout her life and always had a knack for making people laugh.
She became involved in her community where she was a dance teacher for adults. She taught line dancing, two-stepping, waltz, the cha-cha plus many more styles of dance. She was definitely a mover and shaker. She also loved to sing karaoke with her friends and dress up in character when the mood struck.
Linda was truly an amazing woman, with a kind heart, a beautiful soul and she lived by the phrase "Have courage, be kind, and dance like no one is watching".
Rest in peace beautiful soul.

Her Celebration of Life will be Sunday, September 10th at 2pm at Cedar Valley Church, 32860 Cherry Avenue, Mission B.C.
