Daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She epitomized work ethic, loved her family and, her beloved dogs and garden.
She was a military wife who raised two rambunctious boys in various bases and communities across Canada while supporting her husband, and the country, through the sacrifices all women of her generation and vocation made.
She made legendary turkey stuffing, grew impeccably beautiful clematis, could drive a golf ball farther than men twice her size and, she was an absolute animal lover as her spoiled dogs who have now welcomed her to join them will testify!
She was humble, private, unimposing and kind yet determined and upstanding in the face of adversity.
We will miss her laughing with, and at us, and forgiving us at the same time. We'll miss that cold glass of Grigio on her back patio, those dinner pickles, her generosity and the great and equally simple stories.
She was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother; those are the greatest achievements of a life well lived.
Predeceased by Albert and Myrtle Stinson (parents) and Ron Stinson (brother).
Survived by sister Nancy Jones (Kevin), sons Dan Parsons (Sandra and Bentley) and Dennis Parsons (Stephanie and Cole), Niece Krystal (Ashley and Wyatt) and many friends and colleagues.
