It is with great sorrow and immense grief that the family of Lillian Rivers Finch announces her passing.
Born June 25, 1938, in Blind River, Ontario, called to heaven peacefully on September 6, 2023, surrounded by family love in Campbell River, B.C.
Lillian is predeceased by her father, David Rivers, of the Wikwemikong nation on Manatoulin Isl Ontario; her mother, Marie Childs of Campbell River; her siblings, David, Ron, Billy, and James; sister Beverly; her children, Bonnie, Patrick, and Christina; and her grandchildren, Travis, Angela, Ryan, Caitlyn, and Wyler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert R. Finch; her siblings, Ken Don and Linda USA; Marie and Colleen Childs of Victoria, B.C.; her children, Jacques, Ron, Dan, Steph (Claude), John (Jane), Lillian (Tim), Bob (Carly), Sandra, and Jen (Derick); her 38 grand, great, and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friend to many, many known and called her Mom. She will be missed by all.
We invite you to attend to honour her with a rosary, prayer, & viewing at church on Thursday, September 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday, September 15, a Mass service will be at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Parish on 34 S Alder St. Procession to 7452 Gold River Hwy., Elk Falls Cemetery, at 12.30 p.m., following refreshment and gathering at Quinsam Hall on Eagle Drive near Quinsam Shell crossing.
