Leonard Melvin Nixon

March 3, 1935 – July 27, 2023
In Loving Memory ~
Len was born in Chilliwack B.C. but lived in Qualicum Beach since 1961.
Survived by wife Carol of 63 years, daughter Laura and son-in-law Mike Beaney, son Ray, four grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt, Coco, and Jacob, and sibling Darrell, predeceased by son Ron in 1983.
Len was a Heavy Duty Mechanic by trade, having an off-highway log hauling business on the West Coast for many years. His interests and expertise held a wide span, including fixing anything mechanical, building the family home, and a love of music.
In his “retirement years” he developed and managed a rental holding in Errington – a successful venture that also earned him lifelong friends. Len got much enjoyment out of using his considerable skills to help family and friends.
Many thanks to the Home Care and Trillium Hospice nurses for their warm caring in his last difficult days.
Family interment at Qualicum Beach Cemetery.
