Leo passed away at home January 7, 2023 with his wife and son at his side.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Yvonne, son Jim (Glenda) and daughter Julie (Tom) Schafer, grandchildren Alec Schafer, Leland (Jennifer) Schafer, Lindsey (Jesse) Stark, Renaye (Tyrel) Leyenhorst and seven great grandchildren.
Leo was born in Thorsby, Alberta and came to Gleneden in 1945 when he was 8 years old. He was the 4th child of 10 and is survived by 7 of his siblings.
He lived most of his life in Gleneden except for several years in Prince George, Houston BC and Kamloops.
He was involved in the automotive and industrial mill parts, trucking and farming (cattle and crops).
Respecting his wishes, there will be no service.
