In Loving Memory ~
After 85 years on this Earth, Laurel was called home by her maker and finally got to hug her Dad again.
Growing up in Refuge Cove gave Laurel a deep love of nature and later in life she found happiness as a Bull Cook in logging camps. Where she had many adventures and became a trespassing bear's worst nightmare.
Fiercely independent, Laurel's favorite pastime was walking through the woods and paddling the water ways. She passed on this love of nature to all of those around her.
Her family remembers all the times she packed up her grandkids to go for an adventure. The kayak tied down on her little blue car was an unforgettable sight.
Laurel's memory stays strong through her children - Wes, Dawn and Teresa, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren who loved "Granny Hamm".
