It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laurel Anda Charlong Penner born in Mission, BC on July 19,1962.
A loving wife to Dan and mother to Liam and Shay. She was the third of four children born to Charles and Rose Charlong, a sister to Cheryl (Glenn), Earl (Audrey) and Adele (Jay), an aunt to Brooklyn, Krista (Matt), Cynthina (Nathan), Gregg, Derek (Angela), Jared, Matthew, Vanessa and Jeremy, and a great aunt to Livinia, Mitchell and Ivander.
She is also survived by many cherished brother/sister-in-laws, family and friends.
Predeceased by her mother Rose.
Laurel deeply loved God, her husband, sons, family, friends, students and God's creation. She lived a healthy lifestyle, enjoyed all types of sports and nothing brought her more pleasure than sitting around a campfire with family and friends.
She passed away on December 7, 2022, at her home in Abbotsford after losing a short battle with cancer. Laurel is now in heaven rejoicing.
A service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:30pm at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford.
