Laura Edith Wall

April 13, 1922 – June 15, 2023
Two months after reaching the age of 101 years – surrounded by clouds of love from her children, her close friends, and her dedicated caregivers – Laura passed on, from her home at Kiwanis Lodge.
Laura (nee Hiles) was predeceased by her first husband William Bradley, and by her second husband Ken Wall.
Our magnificent mother leaves a family of four children: Don Bradley (Tannis), Debbie Sunnus (Larry), Kevan Wall (Judy), and Jane McKie; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and her stepsister, Laura Alice Fitzsimmons.
Laura was born to parents Mary and Delbert Hiles, along with her brothers Clint and Melvin, and young sister Reta, in Dummer, Saskatchewan.
After leaving the Prairies, Laura moved to Armstrong, BC where she met Ken and subsequently moved to Manchester, England. After ten years overseas, she relocated with her family to Nanaimo in 1966.
Laura shared her love of playing music with her students at Ferguson’s Music, and with the treasured friends that she made through the Nanaimo Organ Club.
Laura was a sincere and loyal friend to many, and she was open hearted to all. Those that knew her have so much to celebrate and share, in remembering Laura at:
