It is with great sadness as we announce that Knud Norman Larsen passed away peacefully at the age of 90.
Born to parents Johannes and Hansigne in Nakskov Denmark, he immigrated to Canada in 1951 eventually settling in the Comox Valley in 1965.
Dad worked almost 40 years as a car body-man in Burns Lake and Courtenay B.C. It was in Burns Lake where his met the love of his life Sheila and they were married for 64 years.
Though an autobody mechanic by trade, his true passion was on the home front where he was noted for having "The best yard" in Courtenay and "The best Snaps" on the table when hosting Danish meals for family and friends throughout the years.
He leaves behind his loving wife Sheila, children Tom, Barbara (Jack) and Rob (Sheri). Grandchildren Megan (Thanh), Tyler and Makenna, great grandchildren Dallin and Dianna, dad's brother Peter along with numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Lise and Eva.
