Who found joy in almost everything she did and in everyone she met?
Who saw the silver lining in virtually every situation?
Who almost instantly cared deeply for those around her?
Whose pleasures included babies, singing, food, friends, family, and faith?
Who said "YES" when the love of her life put a ring in front of her and said "Try this on for size."?
Who always had a warm smile (and closed eyes!) in photos?

Ma was born in Parry Sound, Ontario. She lived her life in Ont then later BC. Predeceased by her brother (Errol "Red" Young), and her sweetheart (George), Mom spent most of her remaining years thriving in Concord Retirement Residence, then Morgan Place Long Term Care. She thoroughly enjoyed the people and activities at both places! We are so very grateful for the warmth, care, and friendship she received.
After sharing a lot of laughter, love, music, and tears, Mom passed away in her 89th year on November 18, 2022 with her daughters around her. Mom is survived by daughters Gloria Anne (Jörg) and Janet (Mark), granddaughter Mariah (Todd), great-grandson Zagreus, special cousin Rosellen (David), extended family, and countless friends.
For those comfortable in attending, a social gathering will be held on Thursday, November 24, 2022 from 4-5pm at Kiki's Greek Restaurant 1959 152 St, Surrey, BC.
In lieu of flowers, consider donating to a local choir, Morgan Place Long Term Care, or the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary.
