In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that Kevin (Zak) unexpectedly left us due to a brief illness. Kevin leaves behind his wife of 30 years Andree (Morin) and his two children Nathan and Brooke, siblings Randy (Elaine) and Tim and many more loved family members. He was preceded by his parents Walter Zawislake and Violet Gorcha (Kraynick).
Kevin was born in Melville Saskatchewan but grew up in Canora Saskatchewan, where he spent his years keeping busy playing hockey, helping on his uncle's farms, fishing and trapping.
At the age of 18, Kevin enrolled in the Canadian Forces. He spent his first few years in the field of combat engineering then went on to be a part of the elite Pararescue Team. Throughout his 21-year career in the Canadian Forces, Kevin assisted in rescuing and saving many lives. The many friends he made through his military career were very dear to him and referred to many of them as "brothers".
Throughout his full life Kevin had many titles and accomplishments:
• Sergeant in the Canadian Forces
• Coach for his sons hockey team
• Captain of his dream boat from which he ran a successful fishing and eco tour chartering business
• Cherished husband, father, and friend
Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memorable stories.
A celebration of life will be held at Glacier Greens Golf Club on September 16th, drop in anytime between 1-4 PM with sharing of memories at 2pm.
