In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Tina Shogren (nee Toews) announce her passing on January 3, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband of 71 years, Douglas; children Gary (Sarah) Shogren, Gord (Beth) Shogren, Janice (Ken) Dahl, Polly (Russ) Beckwith, Deb (John) McGimpsey, Jim (Liza) Shogren; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, her loving extended family, and many dear friends. Mom will forever be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness, warm and generous hospitality and endless supply of energy. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, sewing, jigsaw puzzles and a good game of Scrabble.
Although she will be dearly missed, Mom instilled in each of us the importance of family togetherness, faith and love that will endure.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 1pm at Central Community Church in Harrison Hot Springs, BC.
