It is with a heavy heart we mourn the passing of June Deanna Walker at the age of 82 in Duncan, BC.
Born to Charles and Pearl Jones on June 18th, 1941 in Port Alberni, BC, June began her banking career in Vancouver before settling on south Vancouver Island to raise her family.
An accomplished and award-winning gardener, June was fiercely proud, independent, and blessed with an infectious laugh and mischievous nature. Her decades of travel, antiquing, and nature photography with husband Eric were much loved remembrances.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54-years, Eric, her three children: Kimberly (James), Brett (Dianna), and Wendy (Noel); grandchildren: Justin (Kristin), Ashley (Alan), Brittany (Kyle), and Christopher (Kennedy); seven great-grandchildren, and sister, Faye Hydes and family.
In our hearts forever and always.
As per June's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
